Nestled in the heart of the Snowy Mountains, Touchdown offers a unique and relaxing experience close to nature. With six off grid cottages amongst the Australian bush, you will find a sense of calm and grounding to relax and take in your surroundings.

The Pulbrook family purchased Touchdown Cottages from Gary and Gail Pearson in November 2025, and we’re proud to continue the wonderful legacy they lovingly created. For decades, Touchdown has been a peaceful retreat where guests come to unwind, reconnect and enjoy the beauty of the Snowy Mountains — and that spirit remains at the centre of everything we do.

 

Our goal is simple: to create effortless, memorable stays where guests feel genuinely welcomed, cared for and completely at ease. From the cosy, homely feel of each cottage to the quiet bushland surrounds, we aim to offer a place that feels both grounding and uplifting — a spot where time slows down and the little moments truly matter.

Each cottage is fully self-contained and sustainable, powered by 100% solar energy, with all water supplied via on-site rainwater collection. The cottages feature comfortable living space, spacious bedrooms, well-appointed bathrooms and full kitchens with ovens, hotplates and microwaves, making self-catering easy. The living area is generous and welcoming, with comfortable sofas for relaxing at the end of the day.
